Leadership and Enterprise is Leap's pioneering programme working with whole-peer groups at risk of gang involvement and/or offending.

Through the training, young people aged 13-25 learn to understand their relationship with conflict, supporting them to break cycles of behaviour, and make positive changes as individuals and as a friendship group. A key aim of the programme is to engage young people in groups - young people who are friends, rather than working with individuals who will find it hard to be a sole voice of reason when returning to their friendship group.

We understand the complexity of doing this and are working with partners to find ways to safely engage these friendship groups. This work is done using an asset-based approach which builds on young people's potential, supporting and empowering them to make safer choices for themselves and others.

The programme is focused in the London Boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth, and will work collaboratively with local organisations and providers across both boroughs.

These resources are for partner organisations and youth workers who have started or completed one of our courses. If you are interested in finding out more about the programme, please email Gabin Sinclair-Constance.
