Each October, Leap will campaign to raise awareness of the powerful impact of effective conflict navigation on the lives of young people.
Leap Confronting Conflict is home to Confronting Conflict Week. At the centre of everything we do at Leap lies our desire to equip young people with the skills they need to navigate conflict effectively, and Confronting Conflict Week is a week-long campaign that explores the many facets of effective conflict navigation, personal growth, and community engagement.
Confronting Conflict Week is a time to amplify our mission: empowering young people and the adults who guide them, equipping them with the resilience and empathy needed to navigate inevitable conflict.
Our programmes, rooted in evidence-based practices, provide the essential skills and tools young people need to address conflicts constructively. Our conflict navigation training has been instrumental in reducing youth violence and antisocial behaviours.
By fostering understanding and encouraging open dialogue, we know we can break the cycle of violence and build stronger, more peaceful communities.
Confronting Conflict Week is a great opportunity for you to engage in insightful discussions and inspiring stories. Whether you’re a young person, an educator, a youth worker, or simply someone passionate about our mission, there will be something for you to take away.
Join us for a transformative and powerful week of growth, learning, and change.
